Archiving requests

In 30 seconds

Keep your inbox clean and organized

Archiving moves a request out of your active inbox while keeping a record of it.

When to archive

  • The request has been completely resolved
  • It was spam or not actually a maintenance request
  • It's a duplicate of another request
  • You want it out of your inbox but might need to reference it later

How to archive

Click the archive button on any request, or press a when viewing it.

The request disappears from your main inbox but isn't deleted.

Finding archived requests

Click "Archived" in the sidebar to see everything you've archived. You can search through them and even restore a request back to your inbox if needed.

Archive vs. Delete

Archive keeps the request for your records. It's just moved out of sight.

Delete permanently removes the request. You can't get it back.

When in doubt, archive. You can always delete it later from the archive if you're sure you don't need it.
