Set up Gmail or email forwarding
Connect your email so OpsPilot can start triaging your maintenance requests automatically.
Option 1: Connect Gmail (recommended)
This is the easiest way to get started:
- Go to Settings > Email
- Click "Connect Gmail"
- Sign in and authorize OpsPilot
That's it. We only request read-only access, so we can't send or delete any of your emails. We just read incoming messages that look like maintenance requests.
Option 2: Email forwarding
If you'd rather not connect your email directly:
- Go to Settings > Email in OpsPilot
- Copy your unique forwarding address
- In your email provider (Gmail, Outlook, etc.), create a rule to forward maintenance emails to that address
You can forward everything, or set up a filter to only forward emails from certain senders or with certain subjects.
What happens next
Once you're connected, any emails that look like maintenance requests will show up in your OpsPilot inbox. They'll already be triaged and ready for you to review.
Emails that don't look like maintenance requests (newsletters, spam, personal emails) get ignored.
